Every Singaporean knows that part of the quintessential Singaporean dream is the elusive condominium – and part of the elusive condominium? The elusive penthouse.
Located on the highest floor of condominiums, penthouse apartments offer high ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, unrivalled views, privacy, and living space – plus all the conveniences and luxuries that come with living in condominiums.
We decided to explore the best 8 penthouses that encapsulate the pinnacle of luxurious living in Singapore – and who knows? One day, you too, might find yourself lounging in a cushy chair by sky sunset balcony views in your penthouse suite. Drool.
Over a year of transaction data, we chose the mix of units below. Some of them are Executive Condominiums (EC); others are fully private. All of them are resale residential units, and we decided to set the price ceiling at roughly S$1.5m (on average, a fitting price for a larger condo unit).
Though we cannot guarantee buyers can find a unit going for the same price, previous transaction trends show that you stand a pretty decent chance. We’ve excluded certain apartments like Marina Bay Residences and One Holland Village Residences as we believe they’ve already received enough publicity.
Just be sure to temper your expectations, because penthouses come in all shapes and sizes, and typically come with more maintenance woes (more floor space exposed to elements, open roof terrace, etc).
And for those with elderly, keep a lookout – mobility issues may be a problem if your penthouse is double-storeyed.

- TOP: 2023
Moving over to more coveted luxury homes, we’ve got Les Maisons Nassim Penthouse. Sitting at a slightly discounted price of S$70 million, this one is parked on the higher end of the penthouse scene – but for the facilities, scenery, and location, it’s no wonder this one’s got a hefty price tag attached.
With this unit, you get a peak luxury experience. You won’t just get typical sweeping views of the city – this opulent development is four floors high, and comes in limited supply. The entire complex is home to only 14 units, and each with its own private lift lobby. Of the 14, only 2 are super penthouses!
Plus, part of the luxury is the bespoke living experience you’ll get – with the sweeping 21-metre frontage free of columns, homeowners get to pick from three ID designs, or design their unit from ground-up.
Residents have MRT stations right at their fingertips, too, with Napier MRT and Orchard Boulevard MRT being a stone’s throw away for easy access to Singapore’s shopping district. Orchard Road has never been so accessible!
3. One Chatsworth Penthouse
